Icarus is a small US brand, founded in Arizona, and its main product is the Ascent Gen 2, a full grain leather sneaker with a wide toe box and a zero drop sole. I like that each pair comes with three insoles of different thickness, so you can choose how much ground feel you want. It's made for everyday wear or the gym, in unisex sizing, and they also sell socks and a foot-care item.

How Icarus fits

Gen 2 runs true to size, so I'd order your usual size. It suits medium to wide feet well, but narrow feet may find it roomy and very wide feet may find it snug. Brand only makes one main shoe, the Ascent.
