Barefoot brand from Germany, founded 1982.

Baer is a family-run German company, around since 1982, making shoes with what they call 100% toe freedom, which means a roomy, foot-shaped toe box. I'd describe the range as women's and men's shoes, including sneakers, lace-ups, boots, hiking shoes, sandals and slippers, plus socks and foot-care items. Much of it is leather and they say it is handcrafted in their own workshops, though some models have thicker cushioned soles rather than very thin ones.

Baer make Natural, Comfort and Comfort+ fits, so check which one your model uses. Size by your longest toe, leave about a finger's width in front, and use the half sizes if you're between. They can feel roomy at first.
